When the pandemic rolled into reality, and we each shut down into solitude, digital marketing was placed under a magnifying glass. The online world was one of the few places that people could turn to for information, hope, and community, but the sensitivity of the times quickly exposed brands' underbellies — either a passion for people or a gut for greed.
